Hostadum is a website and hosting provider from Tampere, Finland. The name is a combination of Hosting and Khazad-dûm that may be a familiar for the fans of Lord Of The Rings.

Khazad-dûm was an underground kingdom beneath the Misty Mountains. It was known for being the ancient realm of the Dwarves of Durin's Folk, and the most famed of all Dwarven realms.

Hostadum wants to offer their clients "hosting as strong as a mountain" just like Khazad-dûm was a stronghold for Dwarven treasures. 

The brand visuals have been kept modern, clean and professional but this fantasy related fun fact has found it's way to the imagery, logo and message.
